Great Northern Theatre Company Scholarship

Great Northern Theatre Company is pleased to support young performers and theater enthusiasts by offering $250 scholarships to graduating high school seniors. This scholarship is available to students who have participated in a GNTC production—whether as a performer, a member of the production crew, or a volunteer behind the scenes.

Eligibility Requirements:
To be considered for the GNTC Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Theater Involvement: Must have participated in a GNTC production, either onstage or behind the scenes.
  • Graduating Senior: Must be a high school senior planning to attend a post-secondary institution in Fall 2025.
  • Application Submission: A complete scholarship application must include:
    • A personal essay on the topic: “What Community Theater Means to Me.”
    • A letter of recommendation from a drama instructor or director who is familiar with your work and character. The letter must be sent directly from the recommender to [email protected]—applicants may not submit it themselves.
Applications that do not meet all requirements will not be considered.
