Great Northern Theatre Company

Scholarship Application Requirements

The Great Northern Theatre Company is a non-profit organization established to provide people of all ages an opportunity to participate in community theatre. We have developed a scholarship program to encourage our young members to continue their education at a post-secondary institution. Generally, two $250 scholarships are awarded, but amounts can vary from year to year. The following criteria have been established for all applications.

Must be a graduating High School Senior in the year of the application
Must attend a post-secondary institution (payment of scholarship is made with proof of attendance)
Must have participated in at least one Great Northern Theatre Company production as either cast or crew
Complete application form below.
Write a 350-500 word essay on the following:

“Please describe the impact that Great Northern Theatre Company has had in your life.”

Provide two letters of recommendation from an individual who can support your involvement in the theater, (high school, GNTC, or other theatre organization).
Submissions must be post marked by April 1st.
