Great Northern Theatre Company

Scholarship Application Requirements

The Great Northern Theatre Company is a non-profit organization established to provide community members with an opportunity to perform their art or talent.  We have developed a scholarship program to encourage our young members to continue their studies at a post-secondary institution.  Generally, two $250 scholarships are awarded, but amounts can vary from year to year.  The following criteria have been established for all applications.

 

  • Must be a graduating High School Senior in the year of the application
  • Must attend a post-secondary institution (payment of scholarship is made with proof of attendance)
  • Must have participated in at least one Great Northern Theatre Company production as either cast or crew
  • Complete application form below.
  • Write a 350-500 word essay on the following:

      “Please describe the impact that Great Northern Theatre Company has had in your life.”

  • Provide two letters of recommendation from an individual who can support your involvement in the theater, (high school, GNTC, or other theatre organization).
  • Submissions must be post marked by April 1st.
